I love noodles of all kinds. I think this recipe works best with spaghetti, but you could try rotini or orzo or what ever your favorite shape is. I don't think I'd try it with udon or ramen, though.
I've been trying to be healthier lately, so I found some pretty awesome whole-wheat noodles. I've been eating them for about a year and I don't even notice that they are whole-wheat anymore. I think the brand is called Nature's Promise.
Ingredients:
1 tomato, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 hot pepper, chopped
Some basil leaves, slivered
Whole-wheat spaghetti, about the size of a quarter
A bunch of freshly grated parmesan cheese
A little less than a tablespoon of olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Instructions:
Boil the pasta al dente and put all the ingredients on top.
This will feed one hungry, gluttonous person (ie. me) or two people eating light.
PS. Thanks for the awesome mushroom plate, KM. Even if you can't see them in the pic the brown edging looks cool.
This looks delicious!!! I definitely want to try this!!

Thanks! I forgot to add: if you salt the tomatoes they become more juicy, so you get more sauce.
