Explosive Shirt

I finally got it! My atom bomb shirt from Aliexpress. It took months to get here. The tracking said that it got here from China in about two weeks. My post office is super messed up. They did an expose on the local news about it. They claimed it was so slow because a bunch of workers quit because the winter was so bad.

I also ordered a dress that never came and got sent back because of how much my post office sucks. Seriously. Both were sitting at the post office for about three months! I thought it would never come, but I am super happy that it did.

Trying for A Boy and His Dog look
Here is my Atomic Blast post that shows some other explosive fashions, if you are interested. I am also wearing my BandolinoBlu jeans and BB Dakota jacket. The shirt itself is made out of a very lightweight nylon, almost like a running shirt. Perfect for summer.

As much as I love my shirt, there might be a small problem. It looks like an atomic fart from the back. Hehehe. I think that's a good thing, though. Adds a bit of humor to the doom and gloom.

Atomic Blast

Horrible destruction can be terrifyingly beautiful. I have found myself entranced with these haunting clouds of radioactivity. I don't know why, but ever since I was in third-grade and read Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes I have been drawn to the awesome power of rapidly splitting atoms. It is amazing that humans can essentially create a mini-sun, a life-giving force, and apply it to war and mass-destruction. Tells you something about the human condition, I think.

Anyway, here is some fashion depicting this crazy weaponry:

The coloration of these tunics is striking. I like how it evokes the graininess of an 1940s photograph.

Get these nail-decals in atomic orange to go with your tunic of atmospheric radioactivity.

These earrings are quite controversial. They are replicas of the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They used to sell them at testing site museums, but people got angry claiming that the loss of life should not be commemorated by a fashion accessory. I personally don't see much difference between these bombs and having AK47 or battleship earrings... My morbid self wishes I could find a pair.

If your fashion sense is a little less feminine, here is a t-shirt and belt buckle to satiate your need for a nuclear winter:

Remember to cover your head and stay in your bunker until the radioactivity has dissipated.
